Clinical Study Of DanQi DiHuang Decoction Treating Diabetic Nephropathy With Deficiency Of Qi And Yin Stasis Syndrome

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of DanQi DiHuang Decoction treating the period of III and IV in DN, so as to discuss out the treating mechanism of DanQi DiHuang Decoction treating this disease, exploring the advantage and feasibility in combination therapy with traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.Method : Sixty-seven DN patients in the period of III and IV with symptom and sign of "Qi, Yin" deficiency stasis, were randomly divided into two groups. Based on the treatment with western medicine, the treatment group (34 patients) were treated DanQi DiHuang Decoction. The control group (33 patients) were treated with western medicine alone. Three months were regarded as one course. The curative effect and Chinese medical syndromes were observed, Moreover, 24 hour urea-microalbumin quantity or 24 hour urinary protein quantity, blood creatinime, blood uria nitrogen, fasting blood sugar, two hours blood sugar, Glycosylated hemoglobin, insulin dose, hemorrheology level, blood lipids were measured and compared before and after treatment in two groups.Results: The effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18% , and that of the control group was 63.64% .By contrasting the two groups, there was an remarkable discrepancy(p<0. 05). Additionally indices of 24 hour urea-microalbumin quantity, 24 hour urinary protein quantity, blood lipids, hemorrheology level were obviously ameliorated in the treatment group. While in the control group, most of the above indices didn' t change remarkably. When similar treatment result has been reached, insulin used by the treatment group is less than that of control group. Conclusions: Using QiDan DiHuang Decoction to treat the period of III and IV in DN has exact effect.
