Objective: To oberserve the protective effect of 3 consecutive days of moderate exercise on rat ischemic/reperfused myocardium and its correlation to protein kinase C (PKC) and Manganese Superoxide Dismutase(MnSOD)Methods: Wistar rats which passed the screening test were randomly divided into 4 groups: â‘ exercise group (Exe group): a group that received exercise pretreated with water for injection (1 ml) as a vehicle. The exercise protocol is that rats swam in an iron pool for 3 days, 1 hour per day, after 3 days of adaptation, 20 minutes per day. â‘¡control group(Con group): a group that dit not exercise and was fed normally treated with water for injection (1ml). â‘¢exercise + PKC inhibitor group(E+Cgroup): a group that received exercise pretreated with chelerythrine chloride 2 mg/Kg intraperitoneally for injection, 10 minutes before each exercise session. â‘£ PKC inhibitor group(CHE group): a group that was fed normally and treated with chelerythrine chloride. Each group of the above 4 groups were divided into 2 groups randomly: (A) I/R group (10 rats each group): Langendorff-ischemia/reperfusion model was made in isolated rat heart in vitro 24 hours after the last swimming session, to observe the recovery of cardiac function(HR, LVDP, RPP), occurrence of arrhythmia, and infrct size. (B) Sham treated group (8 rats each group): ischemia/reperfusion model was not made, but the activity...
