OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the myocardial protective effects of adenosine pretreatment in patients undergoing open heart surgery through investigation of differences in the electrocardioactivity, heart beat returning, serum myocardial enzymes and myocardial ultrastructure between preoperation and postoperation.METHODS:Twenty patients undergoing open heart surgery were randomly divided into 2 groups: routine operation group and adenosine pretreatment operation group. The routine operation group took the routine myocardioprotect methods. After ascending aorta clamping, 4℃ improved St.Thomas cardioplegic solution was perfused to the root of aorta to suspend the heart which was repeated every 30 mins. The open heart surgery was operated in the meantime and the ascending aorta was reopened after operation to recover the blood supply of the heart. The adenosine pretreatment group took inter—venous drop infusion of adenosine 2mg/kg in 30 mins before ascending aorta clamping, the operations of heart ischemia and reperfusion were the same as the routine operation group. The changes after reperfusion in heart beat...
