| Objective To study the effects of herbs (rougui, baiji, zhishi) by Zhongwan and Weishu treating the gastric ulcer. Methods the rat gastric ulcer model was made under conditions of water immersion restraint stress. The total acidity was recorded. The pepsin was measured by Mett methods and the gastric (GAS )was measured by radioimmunoassay. Results The effects of herbs by Zhongwan and Weishu can lower total acidity and inhibiting pepsin activity .
