Objective: To study the neuroprotective effects of nimodipine on dopaminergic neurons in Parkinsonian rats models, and then to explore different methods on PD's precaution, treatment and postpone its development. Methods: The rats models of PD were made by injecting stereotaxically 6-OHDA and were treated with nimodipine. There were eight groups and the rotational behavior was induced by apomorphine. At the end of the experiment all rats were made internal fixation, then HE, TH, Bcl-2, p53 staining were made. In this study we observed the rotational behavior and the injury of substantia nigral cells on ethology and pathology. Results:There were two sections in this experiment. The first section was to make Parkinsonian rats models, and its achievement ratio was 74.82﹪.The second section was to interfere in Parkinsonian rats models with nimodipine. Also there were two phases in the second section. In the first phase-making Parkinsonian rats models: Achievement ratio of Parkinsonian rats models of the first group(6-OHDA-lesioned rats pretreated with nimodipine) was less than that of the second group (PD model group) (P<0.05) . The data showed difference on the rotational behavior between the first and the second group (P<0.05). The sham operation group (the third group) and the controlled group (the fourth group) didn't show rotational behavior. The number of the TH + neurons in the right SNc of successful Parkinsonian rats models in the first and the second group was less than that of the third and the fourth group obviously (P<0.05). And concerning it , the data showed difference between the first and the second group (P<0.05) ,but no difference between the third and the fourth group. The expression percent of Bcl-2 protein in the right SNc of the first and the second group was less than...
