Objective: To study the levels of immune function of the patients with recent-onset(≤6 months of symptoms) dilated cardiomyopathy by measuring the peripheral blood T-lymphocyte CD4+/CD8+ ratio and to analyze the correlation of the CD4+/CD8+ ratio and left ventricular ejection fraction.Methods: Twenty-five patients with recent-onset dilated cardiomyopathy and twenty-two healthy donors entered this study. They were divided into dilated cardiomyopathy group (to be called DCM group for short) and normal control group.
