Abstract/Summary:
Objective To detect the expression levels of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) receptors(LPA1,LPA2,LPA3) in epithelial ovarian carcinoma tissues, and plasma LPA,IL-6 and IL-8 levels in patients with epithelial ovarian carcinoma ,and to evaluate effects of them on the carcinogenesis of epithelial ovarian carcinoma. Methods RT-PCR was used to detect the mRNA expression of LPA receptors in the tissues of epithelial ovarian carcinoma (24 cases) and benign epithelial ovarian tumor (8 cases). The levels of plasma LPA,IL-6 and IL-8 were respectively defected by LPA biochemistry kit and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit in patients with malignant epithelial ovarian carcinoma (24 cases) and benign epithelial ovarian tumor (10 cases),and healthy volunteers (10 cases). Results 1,The expression level of LPA1 in the tissues of epithelial ovarian carcinoma was not significantly different form that in the tissues of benign epithelial ovarian tumor. The expression levels of LPA2,LPA3 in the tissues of epithelial ovarian carcinoma were significantly higher than that in the tissues of benign epithelial ovarian tumor(P<0.001 and P<0.001 respectively). 2,Plasma LPA level in patients with epithelial ovarian carcinoma (6.75±2.67umol/L) was significantly higher than that in patients with benign epithelial ovarian tumor (1.97±0.02umol/L ) (P<0.001) and in healthy volunteers (1.90±0.12 umol/L)(P<0.001),while there was not a distinctive difference in plasma LPA level between the patients with benign epithelial ovarian tumor and healthy volunteers.Plasma LPA level in patients with the epithelial ovarian carcinoma was not related to clinical stage. 3,Plasma IL-6 and IL-8 levels in patients with epithelial ovarian carcinoma ( 60.77±12.87pg/ml and 66.33±17.40pg/ml ) were significantly higher than that in patients with benign epithelial ovarian tumor(34.37±0.02pg/ml P<0.001 and 32.68±0.42pg/ml P<0.001) and healthy volunteers(28.54±0.12pg/ml P<0.001 and 27.49±0.25pg/ml P<0.001),while there were not distinctive differences in plasma IL-6 and...
