With the economic, cultural development of modem society and the great change of the people's living habits, the incidence of the cardiovascular diseases especially for hypertension is markedly increasing than thirty years ago, the third of death toll died from the diseases in the word, many people died because they put off cure. So exact measurement of parameters and timely prevent and cure run to the urgent schedule of health care in China. All the current blood pressure and cardiovascular state monitoring technologies, however, are insufficient to guarantee high safety, precision, operability and low cost. So to seek one safe, accurate, convenient and economical monitoring algorithm becomes one important task and the very target of the researchers. On the basis of the oscillometric method and the theories of Windkessel, and combined the pulse wave theory and electrical impedance theory, this paper set up the model of arterial vas and generalizes the measure methods of systolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate , stroke volume , cardiac output, etc. The algorithms prove effective and reliable through the analyses of many cases and doing lots of clinical tests. The main works in this paper are as follows:(1) Consult the coherent literature, research the oscillometric technique, the model of Windkessel , pulse-wave theory and electrical impedance theory.(2) Put forward the whole design scheme for the measuring system.(3) On the blood pressure monitoring side, all the current blood pressure monitoring methods are summarized and reviewed, the pulse-wave-based oscillometric method and its analysis method are illuminated in detail. And the advantages and shortages of all these methods and their practicability are discussed in theory and practice. One pulse-wave-based noninvasive algorithm is put forward and clinically evaluated. The traditional detecting algorithms are also implemented and compared with the scheme in this paper.(4) On the stroke volume monitoring side, all the current stroke volume monitoring methods are summarized and reviewed, Meeb-Rubner method and Kubicek method are adopted and their results are analysed also in this paper.(5) For cardiovascular state monitoring, one Windkessel-based noninvasive...
