Laparoscopic operation diagnoses and treats diseases by endoscope. It broke through the traditional point of abdominal operation and attained the aim of a micro-trauma operation. It has been widely spread out clinically for its advantages such as micro-trauma, safety, simplicity, short recovery etc. Soon after, most routine operations must be replaced by it. For anesthetist, anesthesia of such operation has become one of the important tasks for these anatomical and physiological characteristics of the child and laparoscopic operation itself. The range of child is from born to 14 years old. They are different from adults in the characters of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology and the younger, more different. So this operation of the child has its characters of indications, complications and contraindications.Laparoscopic operation is apparently different from routine abdominal operation in pathologic physiology. First, artificial pneumoperitoneum produced by infusing CO2 into the abdominal cavity to create a good work space can cause high intra-abdominal pressure(IAP) and hypercapnia. Of course, this can quickly disappear after the operation is over. Second, it has less trauma than that of conventional surgery.Preoperative preparationThe purpose of preoperative fasting is to reduce the rate of regurgitation and aspiration which can cause inhalation pneumonia. The cry of the child can not only affect anesthesia itself but also cause their parents' unstabling and anxiety. So...
