The Clinical Research On Hyperplastic Adrenal Disease

Objective: To investigate the clinical characters, diagnosis and treatment of hyperplastic adrenal disease.Methods: There are 72 patients with adrenal hyperplasia confirmed by pathology in our hospital from 2003 to 2006. 1. All the patients were undertaked laboratory examination.The followings were carried out. Firstly, the normal diurnal rhythm of ACTH and cortisol secretion(8:00,16:00 or 8:00,16:00,24:00) as well as UFC represented adrenal zona fasciculate function were assessed. Secondly, PRA, A II ,ALD and postural stimulation test represented adrenal zona glomerulosa function were implemented. Thirdly, sex hormone represented adrenal zona reticularis function were examined. Finally, catecholamine(NE,E,DA) and VMA 24 hours represented adrenal medulla function were detected. 2. To detect the content of serum basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). 3. Applying lamellar scanning to all patients when examined with spiral CT. 4. All patients were undertake transposition of the pedicled adrenal gland. The length,breadth and thickness of adrenal gland were measured during operation. 5. Considering a random slice couldn' t reflected the whole condition of cortex and medulla, we selected the top,body and tail of adrenal gland for conducting cytology detection. After the thickness were measured by micrometer of microscope,we calculated the average ration of cortex to medulla. 6.
