Survivin is found to express mainly in the developing embryonic tissues and the common human malignant tumor tissues, but not in the adult differentiated tissues. Survivin, a molecule for the interface between apoptosis and cell cycle, is expressed in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle in a cycle-regulated manner.
