The Effect On Beta-Fibroblastic Growth Factor Of Filtering Area Following Sclerectomy With Kieselgel And Amniotic Membrane

Object:On the animal experiment,we investigated the effects of kieselgel and amniotic membrane on synulosis in the filtering area following sclerectomy .To detect the expression of positive cell of beta-Fibroblastic Growth Factor(bFGF) in filtering area following trabeculectomy with kieselgel or amniotic membrane transplantation,we inferred the mechanism of action about which kieselgel and amniotic membrane affect the synulosis and compared with both of curative effects.Methods:48 eyes of 24 white anosia rabbits were elected,in which female and male coexsisted,their weight was between 1.5 kilogrammes and 2.5 kilogrammes.The experimental animals in all were randomly and equally divided into four blocks according to different time (the third,fifth,seventh,fourteenth day). 12 eyes of 6 cases were in a block .There were four groups in a block .3 eyes were in a group. Four groups had respectively been administered the trabeculectomy with amniotic membrane transplantation (GroupA),the trabeculectomy with kieselgel transplantation(Group B), the trabeculectomy with Mitomycin(Group C)and the simple trabeculectomy( Group D) to observe the diversity of intraocular pressure(IOP) and the formation of filtering blebs on the preoperation and on the postoperation day 1,2,3,5,7,14 and on the postoperation day 3,5,7,14. GroupA and Group B were for two experimental groups. Group C for positive group, Group D for blank group.The eyes of rabbits were removed on the postoperation day 3,5,7,14 and the size of incised tissue was 8 square millimeters.
