Clinical Therapeutic Effect Of WenYangXiaoGu Recipe On Hepatic Cirrhosis Ascites

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical therapeutic effect of WenYangXiaoGu recipe on liver cirrhosis with ascites,comparing with that of routine western medicine. Methods58 patients of ascites due to cirrhosis were randomly divided into two groups(treatment group & control group).30 patients in treatment group were treated by the traditional Chinese medicine of WenYangXiaoGu recipe, combining with routine western medicine for symptomatic treatment;28 patients in control group were used symptomatic treatment with routine western medicine.If necessary, the therapy of drawing ascites with abdominal paracentesis could be adopted in order to reduce pressure of cavitas abdominalis in two groups.The period of treatment is 4 weeks. After the treatment, observe the changes of symptoms and signs, liver function , thickness of spleen, size of vena portae hepatis, blood ammonia , electrolytes, renal function, index of hepatic fibrosis, weight of body, quantity of ascitic fluid , variation of abdomen circumference and the complication(electrolyte disturbances, liver cancer, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatic encephalopathy, infection etc). After six months, follow up all patients and record the datas of rehospitalization.The observed enumeration count datas were checked-up by Chi-square test ,and the measurement datas were checked-up by T-test. Results1.The comparison of general therapeutic effect: The total efficiency of the treatment group(93.3%)was significantly different from that of the control group (71.4%)according to statistic analysis(P<0.05).2.The improvement of clinical symptom in treatment group(96.7%)was significantly superior to that in control group(75.0%)(P<0.05).3.The improvement of liver function in treatment group was better than that in control group,which has significant difference between two groups according to statistic analysis(P<0.05).And the differences between the before and after treatment were also apparent(P<0.05)in two groups respectively.4.The changes of supersonics at abdominal part: The improvement level of spleen and vena portalis hepatis in treatment group were significantly superior to that in control group(P<0.05). According to statistic analysis, there was a significant difference between the before and after treatment in treatment group(P<0.05),but in control group, the difference wasn't significant (P>0.05).The improvement of absorption of ascites of the treatment group was not significant difference from that of the control group(P>0.05) according to statistic analysis.5.The complication after the treatment: Two complicating electrolyte disturbances cases,one infection,one hepatopulmonary syndrome in treatment' group;and in control group,four electrolyte disturbances,two infection,one hepatic...
