In rats, oral administration the extract of Bramble leaves lowed blood glucose leaves. This study was in order to investigate the constituents of the leaves. The paper were including two parts:partⅠ: This paper discovered the efficient part of leaves of Bramble is RW , the active substance is exist in W30 and efficient dosage is the 50-100mg/Kg, the whole process was monitored by bioactivity-guided.partⅡ: W30 was distilled and separated by combinative use of resin ,silica gel chromatography and the layer chromatographic method .As a result , six compounds were identified ,which included:D-Glucosyl 2α,3β,23-trihydroxy ursa-12,18-dien-28-oate; 2α,3β,19α-trihydroxy-23-methel ursa-12-en-28-O-βglucopyanosyl ; 2α,3β,19α-trihydroxy ursa-12-en-28-O-βglucopyanosyl;2α,3α,19α-trihydroxy Olean-11,13-dien-28-O-βglucopyanosyl; 2α,3β,19α-trihydroxy Olean-11,13-dien-28-O-βglucopyanosyl.At present, the compounds were found from the Bramble leaves for the first time.
