Objective: To systematically review the effectiveness of Medicated γ-IUD for contraception, and provide evidence for the decision-making in use of Medicated y-IUD.Methods: MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, CBMdisc, VIP, CJFD, 10 related journals and references of included studies were searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs) and quasi- randomized controlled trials(Quasi-RCTs) on the comparison of effectiveness between Medicated γ-IUD and other IUDs. Two reviewers independently screened the studies for eligibility, evaluated the quality and extracted the data from the eligible studies, with confirmation of cross-check. Different opinions were consulted by the third party. Meta-analysis was done by Revman 4.2.
