Its pharmacological activity is abroad, including anti-inflammation, suppressing immunity, anti-tumor, anti-fertility, et al. Presently, triptolide and tripdiolide have definitely anti-tumor functions and are mostly studied. But reports about the effect of Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook f on ovarian cancer cells and its molecular mechanism are less.Methods 1) MTT (methyi thlazolyl tetrazolium) method was used to observe the inhibit effect of triptolide on ovarian cancer cells' proliferation in vito and to test its relationship of time-effect and quantity-effect. And comparing the effect of triptolide plus cisplatin to triptolide alone or to cisplatin alone. 2) Observing the cells' proliferation which were and were not affected by triptolide in microscope. 3) Using FCM to observe the cells' apoptosis before and after affected by triptolide and to prove whether apoptosis exist and the relationship between the rate of apoptosis and triptolide's concentration.
