Objective : In order to prevent periimplantitis, a nanomaterial of silver-hydroxyapatite/ titania nanocomposite (nAg-HA/TiO2) was coated on titanium. This study focuses on the physical structure and the chemical composites of the thin film formed by moderated dipping method on commercially pure (CP) titanium disk. And the antibacterial effect of this thin film on supra- and sub-gingival bacteria were tested. Methods: The nano-composite which contains nanosized TiO2, Ag+ and HA is prepared by sol-gel method and deposited onto titanium by dipping method. Scanning electron microscope(SEM)was used to study the morphology of this coating film and the nick-fastness of the coating was analyzed by an automatic coat adhesion tester. The chemical components and structures of the nAg-HA/TiO2 film were characterized using EDX and XRD. The antibacterial efficacy of the nAg-HA/TiO2 coated discs were tested by film applicator coating method. S. aureus, E. eoli, S. m, P. g, and F. n were tested Besides, SEM was used to observe the anti-adhesive efficacy of this thin film qualitatively. P. g and S. m were visualized. |
