Objective:To investigate the distorted rate and the key morphological features of pulp cavity of the maxillary first premolar in RadioVisioGraphy image. Methods:Seventy extracted maxillary first premolars were used in this study. The Tooth Length,Crown Length,Root Length,Cervix Thickness,Cervix Width,Crown Thickness and Crown Width were measured with a vernier caliper. Buccolingual and mesiodistal radiographs of each tooth were taken. The indexes above were measured in the images. The distorted rate of maxillary first premolar in RVG image was analysed. In the buccolingual and mesiodistal radiographs of each tooth, the measurements of key morphological features of pulp cavities were made. Results:The mean data about the distorted rate of the maxillary first premolar in RVG image were collected. The Tooth Length:9.04 ± 2.08%,Crown Length:5.58 ± 3.79%,Root Length:11.64±3.71%,Cervix Thickness:9.28±2.69%,Cervix Width: 13.57 ±4.48%,Crown Thickness:8.69±2.04% and Crown Width:8.58±3.42%.The results of the pulp cavity were mean(mm):...
