OBJECTIVE:Nosocomial infections not only threaten the health and lives of patients, but also cause enormous economic loss of patients and the community. According to a survey, nosocomial infections need more treatment, care and laboratory examinations, in particular need to use more types and quantities of antibiotics and to extend length of stay. Not only do they increase the suffering and economic burden of patients, but also increase the workload of medical staff, impact beds turnover, waste valuable medical resources. It's reported that in German annual expenditure for nosocomial infection is 0.5-1 billion marks, the United States annual economic loss caused by nosocomial infections has more than 4 billion US dollars. In our country, annual cost for nosocomial infection is 10 billion Yuan, far beyond China's annual investment in public health. Thus, the research and control of nosocomial infection will be enormous social and economic benefits.Malignant hematopathy is a group of vicious cloning diseases originating in hematopoietic system, including acute and chronic leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and malignant histiocytosis.
