Objective: Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (Bm-MSCs) are considered to maintain the high proliferative capacity, have the potential to differentiate into all cells in three germinal layers, and is useful in the fields of tissue engineering, wound repair and cell transplant therapy. At present, it had been reported that Bm-MSCs can differentiate into osteoblast, chondrocyte, adipocyte, nerve cell, hepatocyte, skin epithelial cells et al. But,there is no the report about the effect of intestinal connective tissue on the differentiation of Bm-MSCs. This study try to isolate, harvest and culture the human fetal Bm-MSCs in vitro, observe the bionomics of Bm-MSCs; to prepare the connective tissue of human fetal small intestine, then culture and select the eligible time of culture; to observe the possibility of Bm-MSCs to differentiate into epithelial cells, induced by human fetal intestinal connective tissue, and the contribution of EGF in it. Try to provide the basic theory and experiment for the future research of Bm-MSCs in the tissue engineering and treating intestinal injury disease.
