Objective:To study the effects of Hsp90 and NO on causes of glucocorticoid-induced glaucoma, and to investigate if it is another mechanism on causes of steroid-induced glaucoma. Methods: Tweenty-five adults pigmented rabbits were divided randomly into the observation group and the control group. 0.5mg dexamethasone and physiological saline were injected in the left eyes of the rabbits in the observation and the control group once every 2 days respectively. The intraocular pressure(IOP) were measured once every 2 days. The observation group were divided randomly into four groups: groups A, B, C, D. Group A was used dexamethasone for two weeks, group B stop using dexamethasone after it was used dexamethasone for two weeks. Group C was used dexamethasone for four weeks, group D stop using dexamethasone after it was used dexamethasone for 4 weeks. NO and NOS in aqueous humor of all pigmented rabbits were messured at the last day of the experiment. The Hsp90, HA, LN in the trabecular meshwork cell were detected by immunofluorescence with computer-aided color image analysis and radio-immunity analysis, respectively. Results: 1.The IOP...
