Objective: Under the guidance of Chinese medicine theory and combining experiment, the author explores the function mechanism of the Chinese herb adjusted the serum levels of Testosterone systematically and intensively, in order to find relationship among the Chinese herb in this formula and seek a good way to relieving the kinetic fatigue. Methods: Creating the therapeutic method—"Tonifying ying for supplement of yang and activating yang as a way for invigorating yang"for the treatment of kinetic fatigue, and adopting internationally method comes to building the model of kinetic fatigue, given the Chinese herb ETSP orally. By the method of radioimmuoassay(RIA),the author measures the serum levels of luteinizing hormone (LH),follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), testosterone (T)and estrogen (E2),etc, and systematically observes the change of the index, in order to analysis the anti-kinetic fatigue function of Chinese herb, and selecting the better time to adjusting the sporting-time for avoiding over-exercise. Results: The study is assured ETSP has better efficacy on relieving kinetic fatigue, with improving the swimming-time obviously compared with the kinetic fatigue model (P<0.05). By regulating the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axial function, the Chinese herb can adjust the serum levels of T, and act on benefiting Qi and spleen,tonifying kidney. Conclusion: ETSP has better anti-kinetic fatigue effect. Even during the body over–exercise, by regulating the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axial function, it maintains the serum levels of T in a physiological scope, and avoids the body from the internal injury.
