Expression Of The Tumor Suppressor Gene Nm23 And P16 In The Invasive Pituitary Adenoma And Clinical Signifcance

Purpose:Immunohistochemical method was adopted to detect the expression of nm23 and P16 protein in invasive pituitary adenomas. To study the relationship between nm23 and P16 gene expression and clinic prognosis in invasive pituitary adenomas.METHODS:All cases were chosen from pituitary adenoma after surgery and pathologyconfirmation invasive pituitary adenoma in the neurosurgery department of my hospital and Shandong university 2nd hospitals from 2003 to 2004 , amounts to 30 cases. Among 30 cases , 9 males,, 21 females. Age was 19-64 year old (average 41.5 years old). The clinical manifestation includes: The headache 9 cases, the vision field of vision barrier 23 cases, stop menstruating overflow the breast 4 cases, the extremity hypertrophy 7 cases, the endocrine function drop 6 cases, the oculomotor nerve paralysis 2 cases.
