Objective : We analyzed the expression of p27 and bcl-2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and normal esophageal tissue, and investigate the significance of the abnormal expression of p27 and bcl-2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Then the association between the expression of p27 and bcl-2 in esophageal squmaous cell carcinoma was analyzed.We could provide theoretical basis of forepart diagnosis and genetic treatment of esophageal carcinoma.Method: 46 esophageal carcinoma patients were randomly selected.The samples of esophageal carcinoma and esophageal normal tissue were collected during operation and fixed in 10% formalin. We collected the clinic information of each patient,including the pathological characters, cell differentiation and lymph node metastasis. The expression of p27 and bcl-2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and normal esophageal tissue was detected with immunohistochemical method.Results:(1) The expression of p27 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was much lower than normal esophageal tissue(P<0.05).The expression of p27 was different in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with different cell differentiation (P<0.05).The expression of p27 was different in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with lymph node metastasis or not(P<0.05).(2) The expression of bcl-2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was much higher than normal esophageal tissue(P<0.05).The expression of bcl-2 was different in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with different...
