Objective: To study the levels of plasma tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy(ICP)and the roles of TNF-αin the development of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy during pregnant women, and to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy.Methodes:Using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), maternal plasma levels of TNF-αwere measured in 22 patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP group)and 48 normal pregnant women(normal control group).22 patients include 1 mild ICP and 21 severe ICP.48 normal patient women include 16 early trimester(10.50±1.49W), 16 second trimester(23.45±4.45W), 16 late trimester(34.40±4.50W).Then the plasma levels of TNF-αin the different groups are campared and analyzed respectively. Results:It is found after assay that plasma levels of TNF-αin patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy group(10.02±3.67 ng/l),compared to the TNF-αlevel in the third trimester of normal pregnancy group(7.84±2.23 ng/l).The significant difference can be...
