In order to catch the atherosclerotic mechanism causing, it is necessary to know the shear stress situation of blood flow near stricture in vessel. In the study of flow chambers, the most popular is a kind of steady in-flow and plate flow chamber. According to the actual condition, such as the magnitude of shear stress, flow condition and materials, a kind of vertical back-step flow chamber is used to simulate what happens in stricture vessel.Macromolecule polymer is a kind of important material in the study of flow chamber little by little and it is typical as Poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS). The process is made of two major steps: deep-layer chisel and erode technology; micro-replication technique. The odd and cleaned silicon is obtained and we poured PDMS over it to copy the silicon figure. What peeled off is just the chamber's main body. Then we can use the body to fabricate the flow chamber system: the chamber, pumps, silica gel vessel, constant temperature box and so on. To the next step is to culture cells in the chamber, they are influenced by the circulation flow shear stress. Then we gain the images about cells to conclude how AS comes into being.Wavelet transform is a widely applied recently in mathematics, including signal disposal, figure disposal, and so on. It transforms the characters from time (space) domain into frequency domain. And these characters may express the original semaphore's figure. It ravels out several problems that F-transform does not resolve, especially to the detailed signals. Wavelet transform is named, thus,"mathematics microscope". It can express the details whenever and wherever you want.According to the former research, I embarked into the experiment from the condition in chamber, just simulated the blood vessel's condition near strictures at the same shear stress magnitude. Cells then could be in the more truly conditions. Also, fibronectin islands were on the vertical back channel's surface to orientate cells adhesion and shape. Then I disposed the figure about the cells with wavelet transform theory to get a more clear and true image.
