The Invitro Study Of Disinfection Of Acrylic Resin Base Dentures

There are lots of bacteria in oral cavity which can infect the oral instruments, materials and impression , model etc when dental therapies are performed.so it is easy to cause oral crossinfection if precautions are not strictly performed. Presently, more emphasis has been put on the various aspect precautions of oral crossinfection, such as the disinfection of impression, model, dental chair and so on. But the disinfection of denture is somehow neglected. Usually microwive radiation and disinfectant soaking are adopted overseas though there is not a consensus about the disinfection methods. In contrast, it is empty about study in this area inside .The goal of this paper is to find an effective disinfectant which does not affect the denture' s properties via a denture soaking test and a denture mechanical property test. Materials and methods1. the investigation of sterile effect of disinfectants on acrylic resin base denture ( study 1)30 dentition defect patients were selected and classified into 3 groups randomly , each of which has 10 patients.
