The appearing of transgenic animal technology is a great event in the area of biotechnology in 20th century. Biotechnology is critical technique of the development of economy and technology, and will be one of sustentacular industries in 21th century. Transgenic technology enables people to study gene multidimensionally from integrated, organic, cellular, and molecular levels, and based on the time of development and histphysiology. It also makes people to reconstruct and modify the genome of species at our will.Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is one of the antigens emerged in the course of embryo development. CEA is a frequent tumor associated antigen, and is generally accepted as tumor marker at present internationally. The gene, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily, locates in the long arm of the 19th human chromatosome(19q13.1-13.2) and the molecular mass is about 180kd. Normal mucosa of digestive tract secretes a small quantity of CEA. But CEA is highly expressed in 90% malignant digestive tract tumor and abdominal salivary gland cancer, 70% nonsmall-cell lung cancer and 50% breast cancer. Therefore CEA can be used as target molecule for the detection and therapy of tumor .The mouse is the object of the study in this test, the transgene fember including the promoter of mice whey acid protein gene (about 2.4kb), a sequence of human...
