Short tandem repeats (STR) in many non-coding region, there is one STR locus per 6~10 kb in human genome. In the porpulation STR vary greatly, but in the genetic family STR heritate stably. And STR provide much information for the individual identification and paternity test. STR, as an ideal marker, are widely used in forensic science, parental identification, diagnosis of genetic diseases and organ transplants and some other fields. In the forensic biological work, the technology in parents-triplet or a single-parent-double-plet is already very ripe. But when the genetic information of the parents can not be known for some reasons, the full sibling test was needed. Currently, the full sibling test often use the mitochondria DNA (mtDNA)sequence and Y chromosome polymorphism analysis (such as STR, SNP) methods, autosome polymorphism analysis (such as STR, SNP) reported less. mtDNA mutation rates and the existence of heterogeneity affect the accuracy of the identification results. Y chromosome STR are only applied between the male relatives, but the number of Y-STR loci is limited, the heterozygosity of some loci are not high, so they were used limitedly. In the absence of sufficient and accurate information and the judgement, the number of the institutions was less that could carring out the full sibling test. The department of medical genetics have not ,too. STR loci distribute extensively and...
