Abstract/Summary:
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is one of the main reasons causing chronic hepatic diseases and is closely related with the occurrence of liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. More than 170 million individuals, 3% of the world's population, are infected with hepatitis C virus, so it is being paid more and more attention to. During the variation of HCV gene sequences, many forms of its heterogeneity may be represented, such as various virus genotype, subtype, quasispecies, etc. The variation protects HCV from being removed by the immune system of the host, results in immune escaping and, subsequently, persistent infection, which makes it hard to be prevented and treated. Up to now, the research on pathogenesis and vaccine development of HCV was harmbered by lacking efficient culture cell and animal models in addition to chimpanzee.DNA shuffling is a brand-new evolution technique with in vitro artificial pattern. Through DNA shuffling, genes are recombinated at the molecular...
