Objective: To analyze the clinical and pathological features characteristics, the principles of surgical treatment for primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma.Methods: A retrospective analysis of 6 patients from 1980 to 2005 was carried out. Patients received surgery treatment. All histopathologic materials were reviewed. The 6 patients with PMLBL had received induction chemotherapy, radiotherapy and monoclonal antibody treatment respectively after operation.Results: All patients are survival.Conclusion: Primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma has not special clinical features. The preoperative diagnosis is difficult. Treatment modalities include surgical treatment, radiotherapy and regular chemotherapy postoperatively.
