Objectives: To study the synthesis of Selenium-Chitooligosaccharides, and to investigate the Effects of Selenium-Chitooligosaccharides or Chitooligosaccharideson Lipid-traffic-related and anti-oxidation capability Genes Expression in THP-1_derived Macrophages. Methods:Part1: The synthesizing and the token of Selenium-Chitooligosaccharides: commix chitooligosaccharide with selenium will synthesize Selenium-Chitooligosaccharides complex, and examine the complex with ultra violate & infrared spectrogram.Part2: THP-1_derived macrophages were incubated with elenium-Chitooligosaccharides or Chitooligosaccharides for 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, Then LDL receptor, CD36, ABCA1, SR-BI and SOD, GSH-Re, NOS mRNA expression were determined by RT-PCR. Results:Part 1: There isn't dissociate selenium in the Selenium-Chitooligosaccharides aqueous solution, which indicate that selenium form the steady cooperation matter with Chitooligosaccharides by detecting with the ultra violate & infrared spectrogram. And the complex contain selenium 683.5 μg/g .Part 2: compared with control, Chitooligosaccharides significantly increased LDL receptor, CD36 mRNA expression, significantly decreased ABCA1 , SR-BI mRNA expression and significantly decreased SOD, GSH-Re and NOS for 6 hours mRNA expression .Part 3: compared with control, Selenium-Chitooligosaccharides significantly increased LDL receptor, CD36 mRNA expression, significantly decreased ABC A1, SR-BI mRNA expression and significantly decreased SOD, GSH-Re and NOS for 6 hours mRNA expression .compared with Chitooligosaccharides, there was no significant difference with LDL receptor, CD36, ABCA1 and SR-BI , But significantly decreased SOD, GSH-Re and NOS for 6 hours mRNA expression .
