| Objective: Parkinson's disease is the degeneration disease of substantia nigra and nigrostriatal pathway, it is found more in the middle-aged people. The statistical data shown the morbility of PD is 1000/10thousands when the people are over 60 years old. And when they get older, the incidence is increased. The brain pathology of PD is dopaminergic neurons degeneration in nigrostriatal and the ability of DA biosymthesis descenting in remaining neurons cells, that leads to the deficiency of DA in nigrostriatal. The main clinical features of Parkinson's disease are rigidity, tremor, akinesia, less expression and disorder of postural reflex. It has been proved that the damages in PD disease are not only in the nigrostriatal system, but also in other nervous pathway. The research on neurology electrophysiology have proved that somatosensory evoked potentials, visual evoked potentials, event-related potentials and brainstem auditory evoked potential are abnormality in PD compared with controls.Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has been used to evaluate the function of center and peripheral nervous system since described originally by Barker et al in 1985. After that, transcranial magnetic stimulation-motor evoked potential... |
