Depression is a chronic and recurrent mental disorder, and is recognized as one of the most common psychiatric illnesses in humans. Suicide is a major risk in depression with about 15% of depressed patients committing suicide. The main behavioral changes are low mood, negative evaluation of events, helplessness, decreased energy and concentration. How to treat depression effectively has been more and more received. Now about more than 20 antidepressants are used in clinic. Several lines of evidence suggest a relationship between monamines and depression.Objective: YY-1 has haved antidepressant-like activity clinically. Our study includes relative experiments underlying the standard for? pharmacological effects of antidepressant-like activity. Meanwhile, explore its primary mechanism of action.
