In current society, along with the increasingly severe socialcompetition and the apparent speeding up of living rhythm, peopleare plagued with higher tension on work and study. The burden onpeople' mental state and physiology has aggravated, which usuallycausing intelligence and physical strengths descend, and fatigueproduces immediately. Our bodies are in urgent need of naturalantifatigue medicine or food that are equipped with benefit functions,not poisonous and without any side effect, so as to adapt the sportincitement and raise the work efficiency. Therefore, the health careof antifatigue as a significant issue has aroused widespreadattention in economic society.Fatigue is an extremely complicated physiological state;generally speaking, it refers to the decrease in work ability andwork efficiency that are due to the poor health and the low spirits.Its symptoms always can be expressed just as follows: the mind andbody are exhausted, work initiative an concentration decline,belonging to the field of Chinese medicine"weariness". In recentyears, the researchers at home and abroad are in an attempt to searchfor the antifatigue material from the traditional Chinese herb,making a huge advance in the study of Chinese medicine' antifatigueeffect.Among the ingredients of compound prescriptional gall of bear,the gall of bear accounts for the most part. The gall of bear is thetraditional Chinese herbal of our country. It not only is largelyquantitatively applied in clinical, but also is the importantcomposition of hundred kinds of medicine. The previous studies havedemonstrated that bear gall has a variety of pharmacological effects.However, little has been known about the effect of the gall of bearon the recovery of physical performance after fatiguing or exhaustiveexercises. This thesis here explores and trails on the antifatigueeffect of bear galls with an eye to provide scientific evidence andoffer pharmacology foundation for bear gall' clinical application.According to procedures and methods of function evaluation forhealth food by the ministry of health, several mice that have theweight of 18-22 gram, are classified into three groups by their weight.Each group contains the Compound prescriptional gall of bear at dosesof 13.2ml/kg, 6.6ml/kg, and 4.4ml/kg. Then inject correspondingvolume of Physiology brine respectively in the Belly cavity. Aftera period of time, we adopt enduring capacity experiments to observethe influence of Compound prescriptional gall of bear on mice'sloaned-swimming time and pole-mounting time, at the same time, wealso observe the duration of exhaustive swimming, live glycogen,serum urea nitrogen, blood lactic acid and lactic dehydrogenaseactive after swimming. Through BL-410creature signal collection and management system, scan and write downthe activity extent and tension to observe how complexprescriptional of bear gall affected on the movement of isolatedduodenum from rabbit.Through the manner of enduring capacity experiments, it can betestified that the high-dose preparation and medium-dose preparationcan obviously prolong mice's loaned-swimming time, and high-dosegroup also can extend poles-shifting time and increase sports stamina.After carrying on the swimming sport, there is a descend in thecontent of the mice's liver sugar, whereas the content of Blood lacticacid and Urea nitrogen increase, the activity of lactic dehydrogenasedecrease, compound prescriptional gall of bear high-dose group,medium-dose group can bring a jump in the content of liver sugar(p<0.01,p<0.05) after swimming;high-dose group can make a rise inUrea nitrogen after swimming (p < 0.05);high-dose group andmedium-dose group are able to lower loaded mice's blood lactic acid(p< 0.05), and in the meantime raise the activity of lacticdehydrogenase in the blood(p<0.05).During the isolated duodenum experiments , compoundprescriptional gall of bear high-dose group, medium-dose group andlow-dose group can distinctly hinder the contraction of isolatedduodenum ,and cut down the spectrum of contraction (p<0.001,p<0.001).The result above mentioned indicates that compoundprescriptional gall of bear can extend mice' swimming andpole-mounting time, and further enhance mice's exercise stamina,decrease the contraction range, defer the appearance of mice'sfatigue. We raise the content of mice's liver sugar and add up thereserve of the liver sugar, thus providing more energies for themechanism to attain the purpose of the anti-fatigue;we decreasethe portion of Blood lactic acid and elevate the ability of oxygenmetabolism, making the lactic acid difficult to accumulate in themuscles, consequently fatigue can be deterred from. When mice areswimming, we can reduce the resolution of Protein, so that theproduction of Urea nitrogen will decrease, the ability of adaptingto the exercise load will be improved, and the rate of eliminatingfatigues will be largely increased. We also can restrain thecontraction of isolated duodenum, decreasing the contraction rangeof isolated duodenum, relieving smooth muscle spasm to postpone thecreation of fatigue. So from the aspect of vitro organ,we are ina position to verify anti-fatigue and relieving spasm function,compound prescriptional gall of bear do have.Basing on the basic project defined in Functional AssessmentProcedure and Test Methods of Health Food, which was issued by ChineseSanitary Department in 1996, has appointed definitely that thetesting indices, inclusive of enduring capacity experiments(loaned-swimming and pole-climbing)and Physiology bio-chemical(Blood lactic acid,Serum urea nitrogen,muscle sugar /liver sugarand etc)these can be regarded as the evaluation indices of theanti-fatigue function. On a basis of the experimentaldata, compound prescriptional gall of bear can supply the body withmore energies, accelerating the relief of fatigue and delaying theformation of fatigue, improving sports stamina and the ability ofaccustoming to sports loan, refraining muscles excessive contraction,removing smooth muscle spasm,possessing anti-fatigue function.It has been the first time that this experiment completelyexplored the health care function of the compound prescriptional gallof bear. There is no denying that the research results has renderedscientific proof for the development in the anti-fatigue health caremedicine of bear gall and also supplied investigating foundation forthe deep study of bear gall's functional component. We can safelydraw a conclusion that bear gall do have a significant effect on theprotections or elimination of fatigue, above all, it providesreliable and valuable experimental base for clinical medicaloperation.
