| ObjectiveThree dimensional color power doppler ultrasound (3D - CPA) was appli-cated to analyze blood flow and blood vessel in swelling, thus blood flow perfu-sion and stereo — structural position relation were observed more macroscopicly and vividly.Transvaginal dimensional color power doppler ultrasound was used to quan-titively analyze blood vessel density to diagnosis and differential diagnosis endo-metrium lesions. We explored whether there are differences in endometrial cancer and endometrium benign lensions in 3 D - CPA parameters, then judged the relationship of 3 D - CPA parameters with microvessel density and its clinical significance in clinical stage of endometrial cancer.MethodsPatients with complete clinical record who visited the Second Affiliated Hospital, China Medical University from January 2005 to February 2006 were chosen.GE VOLUSON 730 Expert diasonography with transducer frequency 5 ~ 9MHZ was applicated. After conventional transvaginal ultrasound inspection in patients with endometrium lesions three dimensional color power doppler ultrasound was used to carry out 3D scanning only when the patients known the fact and agreed the operation. Then it gone into VOCAL ( Virtual Organ Computer -aided Analysis)program,selected cross - section every 15°, 12 cross - sectionswas chosen in every focus of infection, envelope curve in focus of infection was drawn by hands. VI^FI^VFI would be caculated automaticly by VOCAL software , each interesting region was scanned three times, then mean value was taken to analyze. The manipulation of every case was done by same ultrasound doctor under same diasonography.After operation endometrial cancer tissue sections with thickness 4um were prepared. SP immunohistochemistry stain was used,first antibody (blood veseel marker ) was CD34 and PBS was negative control . Vascular endothelial cell cytoplasm was stained in brown.Counting was carried out on typical tissue sections and if there was no intact lumen of blood vessel single positive cell was looked as a blood vessel. Firstly tissue sections were observed under low power lens(40x) and the highest blood vessel density region was so — called blood vessel hot spot ( Hot spot) , then counted microvessel density of each region under high power lens and their average value was looked as MVD of this tissue.ResultsThere had statistic significance in VINFINVFI between endometrial cancer and endometrium benign lensions. VI in endometrial cancer had association with clinical stage,VI was increased with staging and VI in endometrial cancer had direct correlation with MVD.ConclusionsVI had clinical significance in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of endometrium lesions. 3D - CPA had important reference value in endometrial cancer clinical stage, clinical doctors would judged clinical stage precisely and selected operation range , therapy such as radiotherapy or chemotherapy. VI had obvious association with -% MVD. |
