Objective:To study the change of preovulation ovarian hemodynamics in patients with lufs and its relationship between serum steroid , VEGF and ANG.Methods: 34 LUFS cycles and 30 ovulation cycles underwent serial transvaginal color Doppler ultrasonography. The Peak Systolic Velocity(PSV ), Pulsatility Index (RI) and Resistent Index(RI) in uterine arteries and ovarian stromal vessals were measured in follicular phase and pre-ovulating phase . Follicle-stinmlating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone estradiol(LH), estradiol(E ),progesterone(P) in the blood of 34 cycles with LUFS and 30 cycles with normal ovulating function were detected by 180 Automated Chemiluminescence System . In pre-ovulating phase, vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and angiogenin(ANG) in their blood were assessed using Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results: During LUF cycle, the blood flow in ovary showed no cyclic change. In pre-ovulating phase, the ovarian blood flow was not enough in patients with LUFS. Analysis of color Doppler intraovarian blood flow showed a significantly lower PSV (P=0.001) and a higher RI(P=0.003) in LUF cycles than in the normal ovulation cycles;Except PSV(P=0.002), the ovarian thermodynamics showed no significance in ovarian artery of functioning side compared with that of nonfunctioning side . In pre-ovulating phase, Serum LH in patients with LUFS was significant lower than controls ( P < 0. 05 ) .Serum E2 in basically condition in next cycle of LUF was significant higher than that of controls ( P < 0.001 ) .Serum VEGF in pre-ovulating phase was significant lower than controls(P=0.001),and showed negtive correlation with RI in ovarian artery(R=-0.768, P<0.001) ,positive correlation with serum E2(R=0.567, P<0.001).And RI showed negtive correlation with E2. Serum ANG showed no significant correlation with preovulating ovarian thermodynamics and serum steroid. Conclusion: Monitoring preovulating ovarian thermodynamics with transvaginal color Doppler ultrasonography might forecast LUFS. If thethermodynamics of ovarian arteries showed no cycle change or that of functioning ovulation arteries and nonfunctioning ones had no distinction in pre-ovulating phase, LUFS might come. The inadequacy of ovarian blood flow , the reduction of VEGF level and the inadequacy of LH peak in peripheral vein were associated with LUFS.
