| Heterocyclic chemistry is an important part of organic chemistry. About one thirdof all the organic compounds are heterocyclic compounds. But the important branch ofheterocyclic compounds is nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds, which areextensively used as the intermediate of medicine, agrochemicals, dyestuffes and other finechemicals. In this paper, nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds with carbonylgroup were studied. The synthetic routes of N-alkyl-4-piperidone, N-alkyl-3-pyrrolidone,N -alkylazetidin-3-one and N-alkylaziridin-2-one were designed, studied and discussed.As a result, we found that piperidones and pyrrolidones can be obtained in high yieldthrough Michael additions between amines and methyl acrylate and Dieckmanncyclocondensation in the presence of sodium methoxide. However, this route was notsuitable for the synthesis of N -alkylazetidin-3-one and N-alkylaziridin-2-one. |
