Color Measurements And Analysis Of 1836 Vivo Anterior Teeth Of People Living In JILIN

The optical properties of human teeth are influenced not only by their external configuration :the tooth dimension,shape and surface structure generate light-reflection-patterns,which influence all-over color ,but also by the internal soft pulp-tissue ,the distribution and the thickness of dentin and enamel .Under different illuminate condition,amount light through the translucent materials,The primary source of color is the process of selective wavelength absorption by the organic components in dentin. Different color judgements generate when scattering light come into different human eyes and brains. It is very difficult to match color for dentists.Nowadays in clinic ,traditional visual color matching methods were somewhat subjective with low precision,and difficult to repeat. The color of dental porcelain and man-made colophony-teeth are notcorrespond with natural teeth ,which color is stiffness and short of vividness.So it is important to investigate the teeth color for improving color matching of restorations and making it's fuether progress.Using digital-photo, computer and software, in an uniform condition, CIE-1976-L*a*b*system was used here. we studied the color of 1836 vivo anterior teeth ,found out that there are relation in color among incisors and canines.the analysis were statistically significant in ages ,gender and life...
