Objective As a frequently used strategy of blood conservation, Acute Hypervolemic Hemodilution can cause significant preload increase. This high tendency of preload during clinical practice is of concern since the elderly patients are associated with decreasing adaptability of circulation volume variations and compensation of myocard coronary artery. Nitroglycerin is a vasoactive drug with well efficiency such as decreasing the pressure of left ventricle diastasis, dilating coronary artery and ameliorating myocard blood-supply. It can enhance the efficiency of blood conservation as a drug of controlled hypotension while Perioperative acute hyperolemic hemodilution, since controlled hypotension can step down intravascular pressure initiatively, accordingly obtain less blood loss. Thus, in abstracto, acute hypervolemic hemodilution combined with nitroglycerin controlled hypotension can make up for each other's deficiencies and possess more clinical value and safy in the elderly patients .This article is to explore the possibility of acute hypervolemic hemodilution combined with controlled hypotension with nitroglycerin in the elderly patients.Method 30 patients undergoing elective surgery are randomly divided into three Groups . Group â…  (n=10) received acute hypervolemic hemodilution alone,Group â…¡(n=10)received acute hypervolemic hemodilution combined with controlled hypotension with nitroglycerin. Group C(n=10) is controlled group. These patients who were scheduled to have American Society of...
