Purpose: To observe the influence of oppilation on ET-1,NO, symptoms of the traditional of Chinese medical and NIHSS in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). Methods: According to have or have no oppilation,64 cases of ACI were divided into two groups —the 34 cases of objected group who have oppilation and the 30 cases of control group who have no oppilation. The two groups were treated with same base treatments. When the patients were in hospital at the 1st, 4th and 10th, we tested the contents of ET-1 and NO, then recorded the scores of symptoms of the traditional of Chinese medical and NIHSS. Results: When the patients were in hospital at the 1st, 4th and 10th ,the contents of ET-1 and NO were higher in the objected group than in the control group (P<0.05, P<0.05, P<0.05). At the 4th and 10th, the scores of symptoms of traditional of Chinese medical were higher in the objected group than in the control group (P<0.05, P<0.05). At the 4th and 10th, the scores of NIHSS were same between the objected group and the control group (P > 0.05, P > 0.05). Conclusion: Oppilation can influence the contents of ET-1,NO, symptoms of traditional of Chinese medical in the ACI patients. To therapy the oppilation is helpful to the recovery of the ACI patients.
