Background and Objective: The cerebral imperfect vessels diseases become one of the chief diseases which do harm to the human health, its characteristic including the high incidence of the diseases , high death rate and high incomplete rate . Local cerebral tissue such as neuron colloid cell and contacting fibre become denaturalization , putrescene or transient functional losing . Blood vessel occulusion and inavaiable side circulation is the most important mechanism of the cerebral infraction .In the cerebral infraction , absence of oxygen may become a signal of stimulating endothelium cells and neuron to highly express VEGF or VEGFmRNA .The expression of VEGF can make a new lease of vessels and branch circulation . Most experiments have infested that outsiding VEGF can protect vascular endothelium cells, miligate brain edema .These changes cause the death of lating neural cellural. so that it can be realized for us to do something to protect the brain . But , in this time , we haven' t found much maturing project to prevent the cerebral infraction from the injury. Most experimenting drugs only have rules to the animal models, whose clinical effection having not been infested or needing importantly to be offered more theories . TLSLF is such a drug as we had discussed , which has many founctions includingcerebral protection in the clinic . its mechanium is increasing cerebral blood stream ,reforming circulation and vessel dilatation . the experiment has infested that Rg1 can protect neuron from lacking of O2 in the circumstance of high Ca2+ . So we choose the TLSLF to investigate the mechanium in the brain ischemia and its neural protection and to offer the base of the clinical theories .Methods: 100 patients were randomly divided into three groups (the TLSLF group, the PNS group and the control group). The TLSLF group was administered tongluoshengluofang(including Uncaria rhynchophylla, Poria cocos et al) . the PNS group was administered PNS 400mg ivd and basial drugs per day . the control group was only administered basial drugs per day . The period of treatment is days 10-14. the vein blood 4ml was taken out of all patients on 1d, 3d, 5d, 10d . Finally we examine the vessel endothelium growth factor (VEGF) and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1) in Enzyme-linked immunoadsordent (ELLISA) , the neuropeptide (NPY) and the endothelia in radioreceptor assay (RRA) .Results:1 From the integral of neural founction , the TLSLF group has more treating effect than the PNS group (P<0.05) .The barthel score has significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01) .2 The concention of VEGF increases apparently in cerebral infraction . It is higher in the TLSLF group than PNS. The results shows that it remains elevating on day 5-10 in the TLSLF group (p<0. 05) , while decrease after day 5 in the PNS group (which is still higher than normal ) .but , the concention of VEGF in both two treated groups is much more higher than the control group (P<0. 01) .3 The MCP-1 has the same concention within three groups after day 1(p>0. 05) , but higher than normal group . it reached the peak in day 3 and then decrease on days 5-10 , and its concention in different time inTLSLF group is lower than which of the PNS group . (p<0. 01)4 The concention of ET is notable higher than normal , remaining elevated on day 3-5, and decreasing on day 7 . Its concention in different time in TLSLF group is lower than control group (p<0. 05) . The change of MCP-1 has positive relativity with that of ET (r=0.852) .5 The concention of NPY in different times is significantly different between the TLSLF group and the PNE group, (not including normal group) . we also found the concention of NPY decreasing on day 3, then elevating on day 5, and also decreases on day 10.the concention of NPY is much more higher than those two groups (P<0. 05) .Conclusions:1 This experiment investigates the evident curative effect of TLSLF in the cerebral infraction .2 TLSLF can enhance the level of VEGF , keep it in a high level, promote new vessels rebuilding and so as to protect the brain .3 In the mechanism of the brain ischemia , promoting inflammation factors such as MCP-1, ET and vesscular shrinking factor as NPY play important pathological founctions .4 TLSLF can resist the secretion and expression of ET and MCP-1, lighten the degree of the cerebral ischemia .5 MCP-1, ET have positive relativity with each other . the increasing of MCP-1 can stimulate the secretion and expression of ET.
