Part 1 The histologic changes of Ar-He cryosurgery upon the pulmonary parenchyma of rabbitsObjective: To observe the effects of profound cryosurgery upon the pulmonary parenchyma of rabbits. Methods: 25 rabbits were divided into 5 groups and they were all subjected to temperatures of -135℃ on pulmonary parenchyma for two successive free/thaw cycles by Ar-He cryosurgery equipment. Serial CT roentgenograms were obtained on all animals and surviving animals were killed at 2 hours, 7days, 14days and 28 days following the cryosurgery. Results: There was no animal dead in the test. Radiographically, an infiltrate developed in the region of cryosurgery until 7 days. Histologically, a subpleural hemorrhagic infarct developed in the region of cryosurgery. Within 28 days the infarct had resolved to a fibrous scar. Conclusion: The pulmonary parenchyma changed to hemorrhagic infarct after Ar-He cryosurgery. It is safety to Ar-He cryosurgery upon pulmonary parenchyma.Part 2 The Immune effects of PBMC stimulated by frozen-thaw lung cancer cell and IL-2...
