The lung cancer is one of the most familiarmalignant tumors, having become the main reason thatmankind die of tumors. In nearly ten years, the lung canceroutbreak rate and death rate present the trend of the obviousrising.While 60%-80% of lung cancer patients havealready belong to later period when diagnosed, Thetreatment adopts much regard chemotherapy as principle ofmany course cure..But the lung cancer chemotherapytreatment result has in recent years not ideal. An importantreason of the chemotherapy failure is multidrug resistanceof lung cancer.Namely cross-resistance to various structure,function and killing mechanism chemotherapy medicine .The MDR is many in the SCLC acquired but many in theNSCLC is original. The researchers think that the MDRhas something to do with various factors currently.The tumor cell can express P-gp,MRP,GSH,GST,Topo-Ⅱ,HSP,RMT,TS,DHFR,BCRP,etc.The multidrugresistance factors of lung cancer is the new index toestimate drug resistance of tumor in the last ten years. This study using immunohistochemistry, P-pg, MRP,GST-πwere examined in 52 NSCLC specimens obtainedby either transbronchial biopsy via fibrobronchoscopy ortranscutaneous needle biopsy or surgical resection.All ofthe patients never accept the chemocalthearpy anddiagnosised pathologically.35of them is male and 17 offemale.The medium age is 56 years old.Case selectionstandard: Histology type divided according to the WHO(1981) standard;TNM Stage divided according to UICC(1977) standard.Among them TNM stage Ⅰ10 caces,TNM stage Ⅱ14 caces,s TNM stage Ⅲ22 caces andTNM stage Ⅳ6 caces. The result of the study as follow:1.The positive rate ofMDR factor were: P-GP 51.9% (27/52), MRP 61.5%(32/52),and GST-π78.8%(41/52).2.The expression of thethree factors had not significantly related with thehistology ,TNM stage and cell differentiation of lung cancer.3. The coexpression rate was as follow : P-gp+MRP, 40.1%,P-gp+GST-π, 44.2%,MRP+GST-π, 50.0%, P-gp+MRP+GST-π: 21.2%, among them a relationship was detected P-gp and MRP ﹙rs=0.632,p<0.01﹚,between P–gp and GST-π﹙rs= 0.521, p<0.01﹚,between MRP and GST-π﹙rs=0.532, p<0.01﹚. On the above say,The MDR in lung cancer patients isaffected by various multidrug resistance factors.The drugresistance factors expression had no relationship betweenhistol-ogy,TNM stage and cell differentiation.So we candraw a concluction that various of factors and mechanismsparticipate the formation of MDR in lung cancer patients.Itwas further reflected from the clinic ineffective ofconversing the lung cancer MDR..Alone to converse someMDR protein impossibly obtain good clinical result.Wethink it is important to establish the standpoint that theMDR of lung cancer is because of many MDR factors'participation and interaction And it may be clinically usefulin the administration of the chemicaltherapy.Also it willguide the choice of the clinical chemotherapy to...
