At the turn of the 21st century, MM remains an incurable malignant disease.Treatment of MM include chemotherpy targetherpy immunotherapy. Chemotherpy is most commonly treatment. We reviewed record of 60 patient in our hospital between January 1990 and January 2005 . To analyse features withMM in our territory ,to explore more effective treatment for MM . Objective: To compare the therapeutic effect between VAD,M2 and MP regimen in intial untreated patients with multiple myeloma (MM). Methods:The record of 60 patient in our hospital between January 1990 and January 2005 were retrospectively reviewed. Result: To review MP M2 VAD regimens in inductive treatment MM completely survey two chemotherapy regimens on remission rate, toxicity of chemotherapy and the cost effectiveness analysises.(1)CR,PR and remission rates:MP group 0%,18.2% , 54.5%; M2 group 5.9%,.35.5%, 73.5%; VAD group 13.3%,40%, 86.7%.VAD aquired CR,PR and remission rates of primary resistant /relapsing patients ,is 5.6%,27.8%and 61.1%, even if they had been treated earlier with a doxorubicin-containing regimen. (2) Remission rates of one course: MP group0%, M2 group17.6%, VAD group33.3%. (3)The times of reaching...
