In therecent 50 years, both the morbility and mortality of the lung cancer patients arerapidly ascending in the world, especially in the developed industrial countries.The male patients who died in the lung cancers are the most than other patientswho died in other cancers in all countries of the world. The mortality of the lungcancer patients is gradually increasing by years. The morbility of the lung cancerpatients is the first one in the popular cancers in the developed industrialcountries, such as Unite States and so on. The morbility of lung cancer patientsis the most in the popular cancers and the mortality of lung cancer patients is thefirst cause of death in the cancer patients. At present, the initial treatment of thelung cancers is the surgical removal of the disease focus. The electromagnetic field greatly affectshuman health and survivorship. Therefore, we pay more and more attention tothe biological effects of electromagnetic fields.The exploring biological andmedical problems related with electromagnetic fields from the levers of cellsand molecules is of great important on the scientific theories and practicalapplications. In recent several years, the studies of electromagnetic biologicaleffects have been developed from plants to animals and medicine fields, and thesignificant results have been obtained. The definite intensity of electrostaticfields can effectively inhibit the tumor cell growth from the experiments oftreatments human hepatic carcinoma cell line SMMC7721 and/or mousesarcoma cell line S-180 by the high voltage electrostatic field in vitro. Manypeople think that the dielectric constant of tumor cells is very different fromnormal cells'. Tumor cells are much more sensitive than normal cells forelectromagnetic waves, and the conductance of the cytoplasm of tumor cells ishigher than normal cells'. Hence, tumor cells have much more sensitivity thannormal cells to electromagnetic waves. In another reports, the low dose X rayradiations causes exciting effects and, raises the bAy's immunologic functions.Furthermore, the weak intensity pulse electromagnetic fields also improved thecytotoxic of tumor cells. The objectives of this research are : How the growth of mouse Lewis lungcancer cells and human lung cancer cells in vitro are inhibited by whether thehigh voltage prickle static electricity field or the high voltage prickle staticelectricity field binding chemotherapy drugs. We try to find the direct evidencesof the static electricity field aiding to treat tumors. We don't find related reportson lung cancers. The experiment is divided into 2 parts. The first part is the growth of mouseLewis lung cancer cells in vitro is affected by the high voltage prickle staticelectricity field; The second part is the growth of human lung cancer cells invitro is affected by the high voltage prickle static electricity field. The first partresults are as follows: ①there are double aspects of the growth of mouseLewis lung cancer cells acted by the high voltage prickle static electricity fieldonly, at voltage ≤1.5 kV, the electro-field was benefit for the cell growth andthe cell growth is the most prosperity, but at voltage >1.5 kV, the electro-fieldinhibited the cell growth, and the cell growth was the most potentially inhibitedat 2.5kV. The more we increase the voltage, the more inhibition effect wasincreased and depended on the amount of the voltage. ②The cell activities ofexperimental groups using the high voltage prickle static electricity field bindingDDP are similar to of upper groups, but the cell activities of all groups treatedby DDP are lower than of no DDP. And using the more high voltage bindingwith DDP, the more cell activities were decreased. The cell activities of thegroups treated DDP binding with the high voltage prickle static electricity fieldis significantly lower than of only no DDP groups and/or only carboplatingroups. These results show that the high voltage prickle static electricity fieldnot only inhibited the growth of tumor cells, but also obviously increase mouseLewis lung cancer cytotoxic of carboplatin. Therefore, the high voltage pricklestatic electricity field significantly increased the sensitivities of chemotherapymedicine.
