Backgrounds:Diabetes mellitus is a kind of seriously harmful disease , the incidence rate of diabetes mellitus gets higher year by year all over the world,anticipating to 5.4% till 2025. Recent studies have shown that high-blood pressure,fatness, minim albumin urine and IR are the independent dangerous factors of heart blood vessel disease for T2DM patients. All of these factors will increase the death rate of heart blood vessel disease. And its chronic complications are main causes leading patients dead and disabled. The mechanism of diabetic chronic complications is complicated and includes many interactive factors. Recently special attentions were paid to the autoimmune mechanism in the pathophysiology of vascular complications in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Particularly the percentage of diabetes patients who also suffer high blood-pressure is 1.5-2 times of non-diabetes patients, with 10 years earlier of disease occurrence, and between 20%-40% possibility of having T2DM high-blood pressure. Many studies have shown that high blood-pressure has some close relationship with high insulin blood disease which is caused by IR. High insulin blood disease is the important characteristic of high blood-pressure and the independent dangerous factor of heart blood vessel disease. High insulin blood disease is closely related to the occurrence, development, treatment and prognosis of high blood-pressure. In order to defend big blood vessel complications for T2DM and control high blood-pressure, medicines to reduce sugar, adjust fat, and reduce blood pressure can be chosen according to patients'specific condition. In accordance with data insulin sensitivity-increasing pharmaceutical Malay-acid Rosiglitazone can effectively reduce IR and ease high insulin blood disease, improve abnormal blood sugar and fat, reduce blood pressure, and avoid development of athermanous. It is beneficial to prevent heart and brain blood diseases, and at the same time postpone the occurrence and development of diabetes blood vessel syndrome.Objective : To observe the effects of insulin sensitivity-increasing pharmaceutical Malay-acid Rosiglitazone(Trade-name: WenDiYa) on blood pressure of type 2 diabetic mellitus and hypertensive patients after lowering blood glucose insulin level and improving insulin sensitivity. Method:the test group provided with rosiglitazone plus ACEI; the comparison group provided with alleviatory pharmaceutical plus ACEI. The level of BMI,SBP,DBP,FBG(Fasting Blood Glucose),FIns(Fasting Insulin),TC,TG,HDL,LDL and MAU were measured before and after the trial treatment. ISI ( insulin sensitivity index) and bad pharmaceutical response was then calculated by Homestasis Model Assessment (HOMA). Results:(1)After the treatment,the level of SBP and DBP for both groups decreased. For the test group: apparent effective rate 82.1%, efficiency rate 10.7%, inefficacy rate 7.1%, general effective rate 92.8%. For the comparison group: apparent effective rate 56.2%, efficiency rate 9.4%, inefficacy rate 34.3%, general effective rate 65.6 %. Compared with the treatment effectiveness, the result from the test group is obviouslybetter than the comparison group (P<0.01). There was no significant difference in BMI level before and after the treatment between the two groups. (2) After the trial treatment, the level of MAU and FBG decreased and ISI increased (P<0.05) for both groups. Compared with the level of MAU,FBG,ISI, the difference in the test group was greater than the comparison group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in FIns for the comparison group before and after thetreatment (P>0.05), compared with significant difference in FIns for the test group before and after the treatment (P<0.05). In conclusion, there was more significant difference in Fins (P<0.01) between the two groups. (3) There was no difference in TG and HDL for the comparison group before and after the treatment (P>0.05), while there was significant difference for the test group before and after the treatment (P<0.05). It can be concluded that there was significant difference in TG between the two groups (P<0.05). (4) Rosiglitazone is safe and endurable in the treatment of Diabetes patients in China.
