The Study Of Fuzheng Pingxiao Soup Effects Of Immunity With Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Tumor

Objective: To observe the effects on immunity, chemotherapeutic toxicities, quality of life (QOL) and curative effect of Fuzheng Pingxiao Soup in the treatment of tumor. Methods: 60 tumor patients were divided randomly into two groups. The control group is composed of 30 patients and given chemotherapy single. The treatment group is also composed of 30 patients and given TCM in combination with chemotherapy. Before and after treatment, to examine blood IL-2, IFN-r, IL-6 and IL-10, T-lymphocyte subsets, and blood cells respectively. And To observe QOL of patients and chemotherapeutic toxicities. Results: After treatment, the level of CD₃, CD₄, IL-2, IFN-r in the treatment group were superior to the control group's (p<0.05). Chemotherapeutic toxicities(nausea, vomiting, hematological toxicity) were junior to the control group's. â…¡+â…¢ Toxicities of two groups differed greatly(p<0.05). The curative effect and QOL of patients in the treatment group were higher than the control group's (p<0.05). Conclusion: The Fuzheng Pingxiao Soup could improve immunity of tumor patients, relieve the side effects of chemotherapy, improve QOL of patients and curative effect.
