| Objective: To observe the effect of FFLWDHW on Osteoarthritis and study its mechanism. Method: 32 rabbit were chose in this study and these animals were randomly divided into four groups including group A( control group),B(blank group),C(west medicine group) and D(traditional Chinese medicine group).Both group A and B were fed with physiological saline and group C and D were fed with west medicine and herb (FFLWDHW) respectively.All therapies were given 3D after surgery with the dose of 6ml.kg~-1 every day and last four weeks. 1W after surgery, these animals were drived out two times every day, totally 30 minutes. 4W after surgery,these aninmals were killed and the specimens were prepared. Light microscopic and transmission electron microscopic were used to study the histopathological changes. Immunohistochemical method was used to detect interleuk- β(IL-1β), martrix metallo- pteinases-1 (MMP-1) and martrix metallopteinases-1(MMP-1) in articular cartilage.
