Objective : To investigate the damnification of rat's Intestines induceded by pancreatitis associated ascetic fluid( PAAF) itself in rats and octyeotide's curative effects on it .Methods : Forty healthy Sprague-Dawwley(SD) rats.fifty percent of them are male ,were made into acute necrosis pancreatitis models and eight rats of them were choosed randomly as ANP(acute necrotizing pancreatitis) group whose intestines and pancreases were observed by microscope and transmission electron microscope (TEM) and whose AmYL in serum were measured. :Forty-eight healthy Sprague-Dawwley(SD) rats, fifty percent of them are male ,were randomly divided into three groups:group A served as the control group and 8ml normal saline(NS) was injected into the peritoneal cavity;group B as the model group,8ml PAAF was injected;group C as the treatment group,1h before and 2h, 5h, 8h, 11h after 8ml PAAF was injected Octreotide was administrated subcutaneous with the dose of 4ug/Kg and 20ug/Kg;respectively NS replaced Octreotide in group A and B with the same volume. After peritoneal cavity injection the rats were put to death in two baches at 7h and 12h,eight rats per batches.Levels of LPS, AmYL and TNF-a in serum and WBC in blood were measured. Mesenteric lymph node (MLN) was for microbiological study.. The activity of ATP enzyme and the level of TNF-a in the intestinal tissues was measured. The pathological changes of intestines was observed by microscope and transmission electron microscope (TEM). Results: The levels of TNF-a , LPS and AmYL in serum and WBC in blood, the incidence rates in bacterial translocation of MLN ,the level of TNF-a in the intestinal tissues and the degree of harm of the intestines were markedly elevated and the activity of ATP enzyme in the intestinal tissues was decreaded in the group B compared with those in the group A(p<0.01~0.05) and in the groupC(p<0.01~0.05) but the incidence rates in bacterial translocation of MLN. To compared with the group B7h the levels of AmYL in serum and the degree of pathology harm of theintestines and pancreata increased significantly in the group ANP(p<0.01). Conclusion: 1. PAAF can induced the harm of the intestines and pancreases but the degree of the harm is lighter than that when ANP. 2. octreotide has well curative effects on it.
